Nexus-9 is a station-planet and hive city in neutral space. Its main currency is the Universal Credit, although multiple assets circulate within its markets.

The station is organised around a financial Central Cylinder, an Inner Ring for legal and corporate trade, a Middle Ring for general markets, a mixed residential Outer Ring, an Industrial Zone, Docking Ports and Lower Levels dedicated to illegal trade. It extends across more than a thousand vertical levels.

It is a centre for clandestine finance, smuggling, information and negotiations between factions. Its neutrality keeps outside wars beyond its borders. Hospitals, protected medical areas, children’s dining halls and recognised messengers have specific protections.

No child will be harmed.

Madame Veyra’s absolute rule places the protection of minors outside any negotiation, even in a market known for the principle ‘Everything has a price’.
