Kael Vhar

Kael Vhar was of Sethra/Izan origin and had been altered by the Corriente Negra. His original function was warrior monk and executor; his final rank was master and instructor of the Ancient Izan Order, affiliated with the Order of the Izan Shadows.

After centuries of war, the loss of his order and prolonged exposure to the Corriente Negra, Kael developed rigid discipline, emotional detachment and a practical understanding of violence and survival. His method turned pain, hunger, exhaustion and fear into tools of observation and adaptation.

He did not train Shadiery through protection. He used hunger, deprivation, violence, isolation, physical pain, real threats, direct contact with the Corriente Negra and encounters where failure could mean death. On Vorakh Prime, even clandestine Gorath hunters became part of those survival trials.

His knowledge included Izan combat, applied anatomy, survival, mental discipline, interrogation and torture, rituals, symbology, biomechanics, ancient preservation systems, energy manipulation and a deep understanding of the Corriente Negra. His legacy survives principally through Shadiery Ino.

The supplied character sheet describes fragmented black ceremonial armour, Izan markings engraved into the skin, eyes partially corrupted by dark matter, a deep and tired voice, and the presence of a biomechanical warrior-priest.
